Description

The Midland Bank and shop premises, located on the north side of The Square in Blockley, is a building that underwent early to mid-19th century remodelling of an earlier structure, likely from the 17th century. It stands two storeys tall and is constructed of ashlar stone with a tiled roof featuring end verges and chimneys. The first floor has three sash windows with vertical glazing bars. On the ground floor, there are two modern shop windows and a Regency-style bow window with glazing bars, all beneath a continuous slight lean-to canopy. Additionally, there are two modern doorways.
