Description

Home Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century. It is constructed of random limestone with a concrete tile roof and features stone stacks. The building has a rectangular main body with a cross wing at the right-hand end, which was formerly a dairy and wash house but is now incorporated with a garage. This wing is connected by a small 20th-century flat-roofed extension at the rear left. The main body of the farmhouse is two storeys with an attic.

The right gable has two-light double-chamfered stone-mullioned casements with stopped hoods on the ground and first floors, as well as in the garret. There are also two-light stone-mullioned casements in the right-hand return wall. The two-storey wing on the left has a single light within a double-chamfered stone surround, a 20th-century stone-mullioned casement to the ground floor, which is located to the left of a 20th-century glazed door, and a two-light steel casement on the first floor.

At the rear, the two-storey former dairy and wash house features two-light double-chamfered stone-mullioned casements with stopped hoods on both the ground and first floors. The main body has a gable end stack, while the dairy and wash house has an axial stack. The building also has stepped gable end coping. The interior has not been inspected.
