Description

Nos 10 and 11 are a pair of estate cottages dating from the early 19th century. They are constructed from coursed squared and dressed limestone, topped with a stone slate roof and feature an ashlar stack. The main body of the cottages is rectangular, with a lean-to at the rear of No 10 that is not of special interest. The front of the cottages is a mirror image of each other. The upper floor is illuminated by two-light stone-mullioned gabled dormers at the eaves. The ground floor has single three-light stone-mullioned casements with hoods, and there are plank doors with stopped hoods at both the far right and far left. A composite diagonal axial stack with moulded capping is also present. The interiors have not been inspected.
