Description
This is a dovecote located approximately 40 meters north of the stables at Farmington Lodge, dating from the 18th century or earlier. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features a stone slate roof with a circular plan. The entrance consists of an early plank door that is set back within a low rectangular flat-chamfered surround. The structure has a flat-chamfered eaves cornice and a conical roof topped with a circular lantern, which also has a conical roof at its apex. Inside, there are pigeon holes and a single band that forms a landing platform.
