Description

Manor Farmhouse is a detached farmhouse dating from the mid- to late 17th century, with a 19th-century extension at the rear. The farmhouse is constructed of coursed, squared, and dressed limestone, with large dressed stone quoins. It has a stone slate roof, an ashlar stack, and a 20th-century stone stack. The plan is rectangular, with a projecting porch and a 19th-century lean-to at the rear. The main building is two storeys and an attic, the attic lit by single garret windows in the gable ends. The facade has four windows, each with 2 and 3-light, double-chamfered, stone mullioned casements. An 18th- or 19th-century porch is located off-centre to the left, with a hipped roof. The front door is a 20th-century replacement, part-glazed and with two round-headed lights. Flat coping stones finish the gable ends, one stack having a moulded capping. The interior was not inspected.
