Description
Barn Cottage and Manor Farm Barn is a large barn divided into two sections, with the southern end converted into a dwelling. It likely dates from the early 18th century, similar to the Manor Farmhouse nearby. The structure is built of Cotswold stone rubble and features stone slate roofs. The southern section has four modern gables on the east side, each with two tiers of modern three-light stone mullioned casements that have drip moulds above them. There are also modern openings on the west side and coped gables. The northern section remains unaltered and has a lower roofline. This part includes the former domestic quarters, which feature a Tudor arch doorway and flanking windows with rebated surrounds, one of which has a stone mullion. There is a blocked entry at the southern end of this section, along with slit vents.
