BLOCKLEY ASTON MAGNA Barn Cottage and Manor Farm Barn

GV II Large barn in two sections, the south end converted to a dwelling. Probably early C18 as Manor Farmhouse (qv). Cotswold stone rubble with stone slate roofs. The south section has four modern gables on the east side, each with two tiers of modern three-light stone mullioned casements with drip moulds over. Modern openings in west side. Coped gables. The north section is unaltered and has a lower roofline, it includes the former domestic quarters, see Tudor arch doorway and flanking windows in rebated surrounds, right hand with stone mullion, at north end; blocked entry at south end of this part. Slit vents.
