Description

Old Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse that stands two storeys high with attics. It is constructed of coursed rubble and features a Cotswold stone roof that is hipped to the right. The building has an ashlar chimney at the center, along with another ashlar chimney and a dormer on the return to the south, and a gabled dormer to the left. Originally, the house had two front gables but was re-roofed and extended to the right in squared rubble during the early to mid-18th century.

The facade includes three and two windows, featuring three and four-light mullion windows with drips in rebated surrounds on the left side. On the right, there are glazing bar sashes set in moulded architraves with bull-nose cills, although this section has mullioned windows with drips at the rear. The first-floor windows of the older part are irregular, while the ground floor windows consist of modern casements within old surrounds.

There is an off-centre Tudor arch doorway on the left side of the old part, which has a modern gabled porch from the late 19th century and a half-glazed door from the same period. A Tudor arch doorway is also present at the rear. At the back, there is a late 'L'-plan extension featuring four-light mullion windows, along with a 19th-century lean-to that creates a courtyard and provides shelter.
