Description
The Manor House is an early 18th-century farmhouse, previously known as Upper Farm, which has been restored and extended in the 20th century. The building has two storeys and an attic, with a basement on the right side. It features coursed rubble walls topped with a concrete Cotswold tile roof and has two ridge chimneys. There are four modern gabled dormers and a window arrangement of 1:2:2 with cross mullion type windows. To the right of the center, there is a modern pedimented portico adorned with modillions and fluted Doric columns, above which is a sundial or date tablet. The entrance includes a Tudor arch doorway with panelled spandrels and urn-steps. At the rear, the house has an L-plan layout with an original stair turret at the angle, which includes a narrow stair window featuring three transoms.
