Description

The churchyard cross, dating from the 15th century, is located approximately 10 meters south of the Church of St. Mary in Edgeworth Village. It is made of limestone and features a step with a square base topped by a circular moulding. The shaft is octagonal and has pyramid stops that create a square base. At the top of the shaft, there is a crude cross head that is slotted into place. This structure is also recognized as a Scheduled Ancient Monument, numbered 419.
