Description

WINDRUSH THE GREEN, Windrush Village SP 1913 10/247 William Mason monument in the churchyard of the Church of St. Peter, c6m south of the William Trinder monument GV II

Chest tomb to William Mason, died 1849 and Sarah, his wife, died 1900. Limestone. Moulded plinth. Inscriptions on the north and south sides. Marginal panels with blind lancet-shaped decoration. Hipped and stepped capping stone. Still designed in the Cotswold tradition.
