Description

A pair of houses located at the end of a terrace, dating from the mid-18th century. The houses are built of coursed rubble stone with a Cotswold stone slate roof and three stone stacks. They form a single range with small extensions to the rear. The houses are three storeys high and have four windows on each floor. The windows on the first floor are cambered-head 12-pane sashes with voussoir arches and sloping sills. The second-floor windows are 9-pane sashes, also with cambered heads. The ground floor windows are similar sashes, with cambered-head doorways containing original six-panel doors. The upper four panels of the doors are faceted, and they are topped by rectangular fanlights. A decorative rainwater head and downpipe, likely made of lead, is situated between the two houses.
