Description

No 10 Silver Street is a late 17th-century house that is part of a terrace. It features painted rubble stone and a Cotswold stone slate roof, with no visible independent stacks. The building has a small range and a large gable facing the street. It is two storeys tall with an attic and has two windows on the upper floor, which are twin six-pane casements with wooden lintels. The gable includes a three-light casement. On the ground floor, there is a large two-light window to the left, which has a pulvinated wood architrave, indicating it was once a shop window, and a 16-pane sash window to the right. The central entrance consists of double doors with two panels each, also featuring a wooden lintel. To the left of the doorway, there is an arch for a mud scraper.
