Description

The monument to Ann Phillips is located in the churchyard of the Church of St. Lawrence, approximately 12 meters east of the chancel. This Grade II listed chest tomb is dedicated to Ann Phillips, the wife of William Phillips. It features a rectangular shape on a stepped plinth with inset corners. The capping of the tomb is stepped up in three stages to a ridge. This tomb is one of three chest tombs situated at the east end of the chancel and is prominently visible from Main Street.
