Description
This is an 18th-century chest tomb located approximately 4 meters south of the chancel of the Church of St. Michael in Duntisbourne Rouse. It is made of limestone and features sides with two recessed inscription panels that have beaded mouldings, while the ends are plain. The tomb has a chamfered base and a cavetto moulded top. Inscriptions were added in the late 19th century and early 20th century. The south side is inscribed to Mary Louisa, who died in 1873, and Eliza Boulton, who died in 1901. The north side is inscribed to William Boulton, who died in 1892, and Sarah, who died in 1887.
