Description
The surround walls to the village pond in Leighterton are likely from the 18th century. They are constructed of dry limestone rubble and now have a concrete top. The walls have an irregular shape, enclosing the entire village pond, which measures approximately 20 by 30 meters, except for the section where the road runs alongside it. This feature is an important part of the landscape at the southern entrance to the village.
