Description
Warren House is a semi-detached house set back from the road, with an 18th-century core and a north gable end that was refaced in the 19th century. The house features rubble stone faced in render on the north side, with alternating flush quoins and a stone slate roof, along with lateral stone stacks. It consists of a single long range of three storeys, with a two-storey porch wing to the east. The street elevation has a two-storey bow front on a plinth, featuring 8/12/8-pane sash windows in plain stone architraves, a continuous sill band on the first floor, and a cornice with a blocking course. Above the gable, there is a coped gable with a large Diocletian window that has a plain stone surround and boxed-in mullions. The east and west sides have scattered fenestration, mostly consisting of 12 or 4-pane sash windows. The porch wing includes a four-panel inner door, with the top two panels fielded and the lower two flush.
