Description

The Nathaniel Okey monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard of the Church of St. Michael, positioned to the right of and attached to the south porch. This 17th-century tomb is made of limestone and features fielded rectangular inscription panels on the north and south sides, which show traces of inscriptions. There are marginal fielded panels on either side adorned with rosette decoration at the top. The east end has a raised fielded panel, while the west end has a sunken panel with traces of an inscription. The tomb is capped with moulding along the upper edge.
