Description

BARRINGTON THE GREEN, SP 2012-2112 Little Barrington Village 11/110 Brook Cottage (formerly listed as Cottage 26.1.61 occupied by Mr. Ball) GV II Cottage in row. C19. Coursed squared and dressed limestone. Stone slate roof. Rectangular plan. Two storeys and attic lit by a single rendered C20 two-light eaves dormer. Three-windowed facade. Three 2-light metal C20 casements to the first floor, one 4-light C20 metal casement to the ground floor. All windows with glazing bars. C20 part-glazed door lower right within the blocking of a segmental-headed double width archway. Flat stone capping with moulded margin supported on moulded stone brackets over door. Included for group value.
