Description
Rosetree Cottage is a 19th-century cottage located in a row within Little Barrington Village. It is constructed from coursed squared and dressed limestone, topped with a stone slate roof. The building has a rectangular plan and features a small flat-roofed extension on the right gable end. It stands two storeys high with an attic, which is illuminated by a single 2-light 20th-century rendered eaves dormer fitted with a metal casement. The first floor has two 2-light metal casements, while the ground floor has one 4-light metal casement. All windows are fitted with glazing bars. To the left of the ground floor window, there is a 20th-century part-glazed door, also with glazing bars, which is sheltered by a flat stone canopy that has a moulded margin and is supported on moulded stone corbels. The interior has not been inspected. The cottage is included for its group value.
