Description
The stable block at Cherington Park is a Grade II listed building dating from the early to mid-18th century. It consists of two sections, with the earlier section located to the east. This part is square in shape and constructed of rubble stone, featuring a hipped Cotswold stone slate roof, while the upper part is covered in corrugated iron. The building has two-light stone-mullioned openings with square hoodmoulds on both the ground and first floors, and a recessed entrance on the north side.
The later wing to the left is also made of rubble stone but includes quoins and has a long-range Cotswold stone slate roof, hipped at the east end. It features a hipped dormer in the center and has moulded stone eaves. The ground floor of this wing has three mullion and transom windows with a continuous hoodmould above.
