Description

7 The Green is one of a pair of houses built between the late 17th century and mid 18th century. The building is constructed from coursed squared and dressed limestone and features a stone slate roof with a stone ridge. It has a single original ashlar stack and a large 20th-century stack made of coursed squared and dressed limestone. The house is two stories high with a two-windowed facade. On the first floor, there is a 20th-century two-light steel casement window. The ground floor includes two 2-light stone-mullioned casement windows and one 3-light stone-mullioned casement window. A central 20th-century gabled stone-built porch leads to a plank door at the front. The house has gable-end stacks. The interior has not been inspected.
