Description

Nos 31 and 32 on The Square are two houses built in the mid to late 17th century, with restorations from the 19th and 20th centuries. They are constructed from random rubble limestone and feature ashlar chimneys and a stone slate roof. The buildings are single-storey with an attic. The front facade has three gables of unequal spacing, each containing a casement window with a rendered lintel. There are scattered casement windows and two doorways on the ground floor, both with plank doors. No 32 has raking buttresses. The interiors have not been inspected.
