Description
No 37 is a former pair of houses, now a single detached house, dating from the mid to late 17th century. It is constructed of coursed and random rubble limestone, with ashlar chimneys and a stone slate roof. The building has an L-plan and is single-storey with an attic.
The south front features two gables and a two-window arrangement. The ground floor has three-light recessed chamfered mullioned casements, while the upper floor has two-light casements, all with hoodmoulds. The gable end-mounted chimneys have plain caps.
On the east side, the rear wing has a full gable with a three-light ovolo moulded casement with a hoodmould, and below it are two two-light ovolo moulded casements. There is also a two-light casement in the side of a lean-to at the north end. The west side has two gables, with the right gable featuring a 19th-century porch. The interior has not been inspected.
