Description

ADLESTROP ADLESTROP VILLAGE SP 22 NW 4/14 Row of 3 monuments in the churchyar of the Church of St. Mary Magdalene c 4m east of east end of chancel GV II Row of 3 chest tombs. C17. South tomb to Rowland (?) Feethem dated 1650. North tomb to William Freeman. Limestone. All three tombs with moulded plinths, undecorated sides and thick capping stones with moulded margins. Partially legible inscription on north side of tomb to William Freeman in capital letters. Partially legible inscription at west end of Rowland (?) Feethem tomb in capitals. Middle tomb unidentified.
