Description
There are three chest tombs located about 10 meters southeast of the southeast corner of the chancel in the churchyard of the Church of St. Mary. Two of the tombs, which are a joined pair, date from the early 18th century, while the third tomb to the south is from the mid-18th century. All three tombs are made of limestone. The pair to the north features heavy flat tops that are splayed underneath and are positioned side by side on plain-sided squares. They are leaning to the northeast. The southern tomb has a flat top, a moulded plinth and capping, and is set on a base. It has lyre ends with a low relief cartouche on the east side, and the sides have recessed central panels flanked by low relief foliage panels.
