Description
The gate piers and wall forming the north-east boundary of Adlestrop Park date from the 18th century. They consist of ashlar piers and a coursed squared and dressed limestone wall. The square gate piers feature moulded capping and had bases for unicorn heads, which have been removed. The wall steps up to form the gable end of a now-demolished building, with a blocked doorway located within the gable end and to the left of it. A plank door is situated far right within a 18th-century moulded architrave that includes a keystone. There is a ball finial at the far right where the wall changes direction. The wall has steeply pitched saddleback coping up to the ball finial, with flat coping on the section forming a quadrant beyond.
