Description
The wall and water conduit between Mullions and Bobble Farmhouse is a Grade II listed structure located in Little Rissington, dating from 1874. The wall features a recessed water conduit and is likely from the same period. It measures approximately 10 meters in length and 3 meters in height. The water conduit is set into the wall towards the right-hand side, with a shallow-gabled opening and a flat-chamfered plinth. The round-headed recess has imposts that continue around to a lion's head tap, which pours water into a trough with a brick front, covered by an iron grille. At the apex of the gable is a small trefoil. To the left of the wall, there is a single-storey lean-to that includes a central 19th-century plank door flanked by small single-light windows. This structure is one of a pair of matching water sources, with the other located opposite Hillside House.
