Description

Garden Cottage is a small, detached cottage located in Ampney Park, dating to the late 17th century with 20th-century additions. The walls are constructed of random coursed rubble stone, with some quoins, and have a roughcast facing on the west side. It has a roof of stone slate and a rear stone stack. The cottage is mainly single-storey with an attic. The south front features a single three-light stone mullion window with a square hoodmould to the left, and a small gabled porch to the right. The right-hand return side has two-light stone mullion windows with square hoodmoulds to both the ground and first floors. Modern windows are present on the left-hand return.
