28, Long Street

No. 28 Long Street is a mid-19th century house located at the end of a terrace in Tetbury. The building is constructed of coursed rubble stone with quoins on the right side and features a Cotswold stone slate roof. It has a very large external stone stack on the right with wide coped verges. The house has a single gable facing the street, which aligns perfectly with No. 26 Long Street.

The structure is two storeys tall with an attic and has two windows on the upper floor, which are made of wood with mullions and a transom. There is one similar window in the gable. The first-floor windows are topped with flat stone arches, while the gable window has a single stone lintel. On the ground floor, there is a door to the left that matches the style of No. 26, featuring two small glazed panels at the top and two long bolection panels beneath a cambered arch. To the right, there is a near-contemporary shop front that includes delicate panelled pilasters and a large window with a cambered head, which is divided by three thin mullions.
