Description

This is a large, mid-18th century house situated at the end of a terrace. It is constructed of ashlar-faced rubble stone on a plinth, with a slate roof and a rendered rear stack. The original single range has a rear extension to the left. The house has three storeys and two windows to the front. The windows are 12-pane sashes in plain reveals, with a 9-pane sash to the second floor. The ground floor features a central triple sash window with a 20th-century added fascia and side shutters. A moulded stone architrave frames the doorway to the left, leading to Number 32, with a rectangular fanlight having a central diamond pane above a six-panel door; the central panel is fielded and raised. To the right is a doorway, marked for Number 34, providing access to a through passage. This doorway has a square moulded frame, a keystone, a semi-circular soffit, a radial fanlight, and a six-panel door with four fielded and raised panels.
