Description

Star Cottage is a detached cottage, with the front section likely dating from the mid to late 18th century, while the rear may be older. The building is constructed of rubble stone and features a stone slate roof with stone end stacks at the front. It has a double, stepped range of two storeys. The front facade includes two windows and two small gables that contain paired 6-pane casements set through the eaves. On the ground floor, there are two larger windows flanking a recessed three-panel door, all of which are topped with timber lintels. The rear range has one 2-light casement on the left-hand return, but the rest of the rear range could not be inspected.
