Description
The premises of Peter Walker Bachelor of Dental Science, dating from the 17th century, are constructed from random rubble with a Cotswold stone roof and feature a gable end facing the street. The building has three storeys, with one window on the ground floor that is a restored three-light casement. To the right of this window is a six-panel door with two glazed panels and a wooden hood. On the first floor, there is a two-light stone mullion casement window with a drip mould, and two similar windows above it on the second floor. A stone stack is located at the rear of the building.
Inside, there is a large inglenook fireplace on the ground floor, with stairs located to the right. To the left, there is a two-storey extension that has one range of windows, featuring two-light casement windows with mullions on the first floor, and a chamfered doorway to the right. Additionally, there is a very much remodelled two-storey wing to the left, known as Country Crafts, which includes a reset two-light mullion window on the first floor.
