Description
This building is an outbuilding and adjoining open-fronted store, dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century, located approximately 50 meters southeast of Clements Farmhouse in Great Rissington. It is constructed from coursed limestone rubble with large dressed quoins and features a stone slate roof. The structure has a rectangular plan, with two successive open-fronted stores at right angles to the rear left, creating an 'L'-shaped layout. The outbuilding has a single stable door at the center of the south side and a triangular arrangement of pigeon holes with landing platforms near the apex of the right gable end. The two open-fronted stores have timber uprights that divide each bay and are stepped up the slope at the rear. Inside the outbuilding, there are three bays featuring the original collar and tie-beam trusses. This building is part of a significant group that includes the stable block.
