Description

HAZLETON - SP 01 NE 5/42 Open-fronted store c9m north of house at Hill Barn GV II Open-fronted store. Late C18-early C19. Roughly coursed limestone, stone slate roof. Rectangular plan. Building attached at right gable end not of special interest. Three open bays (one with garage doors). Bays divided by stone-built cylindrical columns which taper upwards to square capitals with chamfered lower edges. Door to loft at left gable end (access possibly formerly via ladder or wooden steps).
