Description

This is an open-fronted store located approximately 9 meters north of the house at Hill Barn, dating from the late 18th to early 19th century. It is constructed from roughly coursed limestone and features a stone slate roof, with a rectangular plan. The building has three open bays, one of which includes garage doors. The bays are separated by stone-built cylindrical columns that taper upwards to square capitals with chamfered lower edges. There is a door to the loft at the left gable end, which may have originally been accessed by a ladder or wooden steps. The building attached at the right gable end is not of special interest.
