Description

Box Tree Cottage is a detached house built in the late 17th to early 18th century. It features coursed limestone rubble and a stone slate roof, with 20th-century brick stacks. The main structure is rectangular and two stories high, with a facade that has two windows. These windows are lit by two and three-light double-chamfered stone-mullioned casements, although the mullions have been replaced, and they include 20th-century leaded panes. There is a central 20th-century porch with a weatherboarded gable, and gable end stacks are present. The rear has a 20th-century extension that is not of special interest. The interior has not been inspected.
