Description
This is an open-fronted store located approximately 50 meters east of Manor Farmhouse, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed from coursed squared and dressed limestone, with the side facing the road being more finely dressed. The roof is made of corrugated felt. The building has a rectangular plan and stands two storeys high, featuring four open bays that are divided by timber uprights set on limestone padstones. There are additional intermediary timber uprights resembling tree trunks with the bark removed, positioned set back from the front. The right-hand bay now has a weatherboarded front. There is a pitching window located off-centre to the right and a plank doorway leading to the loft in the right gable end, which may have originally had a timber access stair. The gable ends are topped with flat coping.
