Description
This is an 18th-century outbuilding with a pigeon loft above, located approximately 10 metres north of Windrush Mill. It is constructed from coursed squared and dressed limestone and features a corrugated asbestos roof with a rectangular plan. There are steps leading up to an early plank door, and to the right, there is a low doorway with a timber lintel, which may have originally served as an entrance to a pigsty. A plank door is present in the left gable end. The gable ends have flat coping, and the side walls of the pigeon loft contain irregularly spaced pigeon holes. The building retains its original roof trusses and is part of a picturesque group situated beside the River Windrush and the mill pond.
