Description

Nos 6 and 7 Little Tarlton are semi-detached cottages built between 1909 and 1926 as part of a group of seven designed by Ernest Barnsley. They are constructed from coursed and dressed stone and feature a stone slate roof with stone stacks that have offset and moulded cornices. Both cottages are single storey with an attic. The windows are mostly scattered and consist of either 2 or 3-light casements with cambered heads, or 2-light casements with timber lintels, along with some small 4 or 6-pane single lights. The entrances have plank doors. The layout of Nos 6 and 7 forms an 'L' shape, with a single gable over the door to No 6 and two gables above the door to No 7, both of which have gabled porches.
