Description

This is a group of thirteen monuments located immediately south of the south tower and chapel in the churchyard of the Church of St. Peter. The monuments are mostly chest tombs from the mid to late 18th century, with some possibly dating to the early 19th century. They are made of limestone and are arranged in four rows from north to south. The inscriptions on the tombs are mostly indecipherable or have been obliterated. The group includes three fine chests with carved lyre ends, three with stepped caps, four almost identical tall chests, and three plain chests.
