Description
This is a barn located on the Sezincote Estate, approximately 80 meters south of Holly Cottage, and it dates from the 18th century. The barn is built from coursed squared and dressed limestone, topped with a concrete tiled roof that features limestone gable coping. It has a rectangular plan with a projecting porch on the south side and is a single storey structure. The central porch extends back at the rear, and there are stones omitted at regular intervals in the facade for ventilation. The gable coping is slightly stepped at the left end and on the gable end of the projecting porch. Inside, the barn has five bays and a flagged central threshing floor. The original roof timbers include a tie beam and collar.
