Description

Bern-Leay is a detached cottage built in the early 19th century, with 20th-century extensions. It is constructed from coursed rubble stone and features alternating flush quoins. The roof is made of stone slate and has a partially external stone stack on the left side. The original structure is a single range of two storeys, with a lower 20th-century extension to the left and a two-storey 20th-century extension at the rear. The main block includes two 3-light leaded metal casements with flush quoins on the first floor, and one leaded casement on the ground floor to the left with a timber lintel. There is also a 20th-century stone gabled porch to the right.
