Description
The drive piers at the carriage sweep of the southwest Regency block to St Edward's Middle School were built around 1832. There are two short ashlar piers, each featuring a shield in a panel on every face and topped with a moulded capping. These piers contribute to the setting of the southwest Regency block of St Edward's Middle School, which was formerly known as Ashley Villa, and they also form a group with the nearby Summerhouse.
