Description
No 9 The Burgage is a 17th-century cottage that forms part of a row of similar buildings. Originally timber-framed, it is now pebble-dashed and features a thatched roof with a brick chimney. The cottage has a rectangular plan and is 1½ storeys high with a two-bay facade. There is a single eyebrow dormer on the first floor, which has a 20th-century top-opening casement window. On the ground floor, to the right of a 19th-century plank door with a single-pane spy light, there is a two-light casement window with horizontal glazing bars. A stack is located at the right gable end. The interior has not been inspected.
