Description

Burgage Plot Cottage, located 10 yards north of Brown's Architects Office, is a 17th-century cottage that features a timber frame and weatherboarding. It has a plain tiled roof and a central brick chimney stack. The building stands two storeys high and has an irregular front with one window, which contains glazing bar sashes. There is a doorway on the left side with a boarded door. This cottage is included in the register as an example of burgage plot development.
