Church. 1842-44. Architect HR Abraham of London. Cost »1,812/18/9d. Brick with ashlar facade and slate roof. Norman style. EXTERIOR: gable fronted with heavy side buttresses. Four stepped lights with roll-moulds, outer with Doric, centre with Corinthian capitals; a small rose in gable. Central arched door with roll-mould in slight break with corner shafts. INTERIOR: not inspected. HISTORICAL NOTE: notable as the first building in Cheltenham to be built in Anglo-Norman style, a fashion which achieved great popularity in this decade.
