Description
Tresham Church is an Anglican church built in 1855 by J.J. Rowland in the Neo-Norman style. It features coursed, squared rubble and a Cotswold stone slate roof. The church comprises a nave, chancel, and south porch, with wall buttresses and two round arch windows that have chevron moulded arches and rere-arches, along with a corbel table. The south porch includes columns with scalloped capitals and an inner door flanked by two columns with decorative capitals. A bellcote is situated on the west gable. Inside, the roof and chancel arch spring from moulded corbels that have scalloped capitals and pendants. The furnishings are plain, featuring an octagonal font and a simple wooden pulpit in Romanesque style. The sanctuary was redecorated in 1908 and includes an arcaded reredos.
