Description

Numbers 91 and 93 are two terraced houses with attached area railings, built around 1820 to 1850. They are constructed of stucco over brick and feature slate roofs, stucco party-wall stacks, and iron railings, along with continuous window boxes at No. 91. The houses are two storeys high with basements, and No. 91 has a third storey on the left. Architectural details include paired full-height Tuscan pilasters at the ends and between the windows of No. 93, a cornice, a second-floor band, a crowning frieze, and a dentil cornice, with a blocking course and copings throughout. The windows are primarily 6/6 sashes where original, with some 1/1 sashes and 3/3 sashes in the basement. The entrances on the right feature 4-panel, part-glazed doors with overlights. The interior has not been inspected. The area railings have anthemion-headed bars and spearhead dog-bars, and the first-floor window guard on the right includes a band of scrolls.
