Description
The Sunday school, now used as a church hall, dates from the early 19th century and includes a pair of small granite gate posts with pyramidal caps, simple iron gates, and a short section of wall connecting the gateway to the schoolroom. The building is constructed of stone rubble and has an asbestos slate roof that is gabled at both ends, with a stone stack at the left gable end. It has a rectangular plan consisting of one room and is a single storey. The front features a symmetrical arrangement with two windows and a gabled central porch that has an elliptical stone arch and an ornamental slate roof, leading to a four-panel inner door. On either side of the porch are four-light casement windows with diamond leaded panes set under timber lintels, and there is one similar window at the rear. The gates and wall complete the structure.
