Description
There are two headstones and a ledger stone located about 3 meters south of the middle of the south side of the Church of St Mary. The ledger stone is made of slate and dates from the 17th century, while the headstones are from the early and late 18th century. The inscription on the ledger stone is illegible. The headstone on the east features a segmental head and commemorates Mary Maynard, who died in 1747, with stylized cherubim carved at the top. The headstone on the west has a nowy head and commemorates Peter Maynard, who died in 1775. It includes a verse below the inscription, cherubim carved in the head, and the border is inscribed "cut by William Toser."
