Description

This is a late 18th-century headstone located about 5 meters east of the chancel of the Church of St Andrew in Coryton. Made of slate, the headstone features a nowy head with canted corners and commemorates Elizabeth Down, who died in 1774. It is adorned with a carved relief of a pot of flowers at the top, with an inscription and verse below.
